(Photo: Kaiyi) We took one to Tokyo Metro lines from Tsukiji to Tokyo station to see the Imperial Palace. A part of the inside of the Imperial Palace is open to public but you have to apply with the Imperial Household Agency http://sankan.kunaicho.go.jp/english/
We found out a little too late as all the slots were taken up. We suspected tour agencies did the booking. Our suspicion was confirmed when we saw bus loads of Japanese tourists from other cities stopping at the entrance of the Imperial Palace and some officials were checking the documents.
Along the way, we saw a swan family. The cleaner stopped by to feed the cob (papa swan) and the pen (mama swan). The small little black dots in water are the cygnet (baby swans).

While we are on our way to Nijubashi, a part of the Imperial Palace, Kaiyi needed the toilet. We urgently need to get out of Tokyo soon as I've got a meeting at Roppongi.
