Day 4: A no rain day!

(Photo: Maggie)

This day was one of the best day in Tokyo. We woke up to a cloudy day. Yes, it's another no sun day but better than raining. We were satisfied. We decided to try the Japanese breakfast at the hotel. The American breakfast that we tried on our first morning in Tokyo was not different then any other American breakfast. The first look of it, the portion does seem a little erm...small for a meal that was going to last us till dinner time. Nonetheless, we tucked in happily and before we know it, we were out of the restaurant feeling very full and satisfied.

It was such a good day that we decided we will take a few minutes to enjoy the flowers at the garden beside our hotel.

Only when there are more leaves then the flowers will appear more appealing and enjoyable. Just like a no rain day after rainy days.

There were so many of the pink flowers around. All of them pretty and fresh-looking. But this stalk stood out. Not that it was fresher-looking or prettier than the rest. But because it was outstanding. It was the only one with my idea of a nice backdrop. I believe the if I spend more time at the garden, I will be able to find more such stalk.

I can even see Tokyo Tower clearly.

Totally soaking in the limited sunlight.
